The Story
Villa Marina is the crown jewel of the Marina Escapes collection — a grand coastal estate where traditional Kerala architecture meets understated modern luxury. Set among towering palms on the shores of Valiyaparamba, with the Arabian Sea as your horizon, this five-bedroom sanctuary was designed for one purpose: to gather the people you love in a place that feels entirely your own.
From the moment you pass through the gates, the villa reveals its defining gift — a private beach that feels like an extension of the garden. Golden sands and crystal-clear waters lie just a short barefoot walk away, and days here settle into an easy rhythm of sea breezes, palm shade, and long, unhurried evenings.
The Spaces
Five ground-floor suites, each opening onto its own private patio. Two beach-view suites with queen beds wake to the sound of waves; three garden-view suites with king beds — including a generous master suite — look out over swaying greenery. Every suite is air-conditioned and features a private ensuite bathroom with hot water, plush towels, and essential toiletries.
At the heart of the villa, a light-filled living room invites you to sink into plush seating, while the home-theatre setup and wired music system set the tone for the evening. The adjoining dining area seats twelve in comfort — perfect for long family breakfasts or candlelit celebration dinners. A well-appointed pantry with microwave, toaster, kettle, and tea-and-coffee amenities stands ready, alongside an RO water purifier and full crockery. (The cooking, however, we recommend leaving to our chefs — more below.)
The Grounds
Step outside and Villa Marina becomes a private resort. A sparkling swimming pool sits at the centre of manicured lawns, framed by coconut palms and the distant line of the sea. Wander the expansive gardens at dawn, claim the hammock for an afternoon read, or share an al fresco meal at the outdoor dining table for four as the sky turns to gold.
And then, the beach. Direct, private, and pristine — yours from sunrise to starlight.
A Day at Villa Marina
Mornings begin with a barefoot stroll across empty sands. Afternoons drift between the pool, the hammock, and the shade of the palms. For the adventurous, kayaking awaits in the nearby waters. As evening falls, let our chef lay out a Kerala seafood feast on the lawn — or a candlelit dinner on the beach — while the stars emerge over the Arabian Sea.
The Table
Dining at Villa Marina is an experience in itself. Our local chefs prepare authentic Kerala cuisine from the day’s catch and nearby farm produce — from Karimeen Pollichathu to a full vegetarian sadhya served on banana leaf. Meals are served wherever you wish: the dining room, the lawn, or the sand. Vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, and gluten-free menus are crafted with care; simply share your preferences in advance.
